Position Overview

As an Embedded Software Engineer at IM Efficiency, your primary role will involve working on the software systems that control and optimize our SolarOnTop product. This pioneering technology integrates flexible solar panels into the roofs of trucks and trailers. You'll be instrumental in advancing our platform, ensuring seamless operation, and delivering an exceptional user experience to our customers.

Key Reponsibilities

• Collaborate on the development of embedded software for the SolarOnTop product.
• Design, develop, and rigorously test new features and enhancements for our embedded systems.
• Evaluate and potentially refine deployment structures as our application scales.
• Innovate solutions and features aligned with SolarOnTop product requirements and API environment.
• Work closely with colleagues and partners to manage the application within the Azure environment.
• Contribute to organizational growth by creating valuable software plugins for daily processes.
• Enhance data storage, retrieval, analysis, and presentation capabilities, developing new modules for expanded data activities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in embedded software development, utilizing languages such as C/C++.
• Experience with database storage and optimization, encompassing Azure and databases like MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Basic knowledge of hardware, programmable logic controllers, modbus, roaming, and cloud communication.
• Familiarity with state diagrams.
• Possession of a valid driver's license (B) and access to transportation (advantageous).
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English languages.
• Demonstrated sense of responsibility, independent problem-solving abilities, and a strong drive for learning and innovation.
